Frozen or Closed Crypto Account?

If your cryptocurrency exchange account has been frozen or deactivated by the exchange, you are still able to obtain your transaction information via their data protection officer. These exchanges are subject to data protection laws that means they must keep a record of your data for a certain number of years. To exercise this right and acquire your information, please fill in the blanks and send the following templated email to the data protection officer of your frozen exchange(s). A list of emails for these officers can also be found below:

 

“Dear Data Protection Officer,

I am writing to request a copy of my transaction statement associated with my account at [Exchange Name]. My account is registered under the email address: [your registered email].

Specifically, I would like to receive:

A complete, PDF statement of all my FIAT and Crypto transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, trades, and transfers. Please ensure that all withdrawal addresses and transaction hashes are included. 

Please confirm receipt of this request and let me know if you need any additional information from me to process it. I would appreciate it if you could send the requested information to [your email address].
